Postby plastic-spastic Sun Oct 14, 2012 8:46 pm

hey guys i have family up in darwin and im heading up there in a few weeks i was wondering of any of you have fished up around there either land based or boat i am doing both with soft plastics and what sizes and colours work well. any advice would be mint and greatly appreciated.
p.s. i am an avid supporter of shimano and only use squidgy soft plastics so if you could generalise to there lures it would be appreciated to thanks guys.

was up there a month ago and fished off a boat from Dundee. it is absolutely awesome - spanish mack, queenfish, golden snapper and mack tuna to name a few of the species. above all it is a natural marine reserve with dolphins, turtles and whales all sighted. id be careful land based due to the ever present crocs. you will have a ball. if going on a charter pick the small operators who have a max of 3 on board and use lighter tackle for some serious fun. cheers
