Snapper Season Starts

Postby mrfisho Sun Aug 13, 2017 9:29 am

I have answered this question a few times ... I see people adding facebook photo's saying First Red for the Season hmmmm I think they mean Last Red for the Season .. The traditional Start of Snapper Season is the 1st of September ! Has been for as long as I can remember :)

Cheers
Mick

Well decided to go out from werribee south on friday, firstly tried wedge spit area for squid no luck there and noticed the lack of the usual weed beds so down to point cook just out from marine park ended up with bag of squid small to medium which are good for snapper baits, need to do a few more before end of September
