travel advice?

Towing the boat to NSW for a fish end of August. We normally head to Eden/Bermi and follow the coast but heading a bit further north this year to Tomakin, just south of Batemans Bay.

Have been told that although it is longer, it is actually quicker to go inland through Albury, Gundagai, Yass and cut across to Batemans Bay.

Leaving from Melbourne. Anyone confirm that inland is the way to go?

Cheers, Scotty.

I've driven to batemans and I think the advantage is mostly dual carriage highway with sections of 110. Going via Coast whilst is a nice drive has the windy section around Mallocota, I reckon inland maybe quicker

I reckon although google says 19min faster inland towing the boat will be quicker by avoiding the hills where you can't keep up with the speed limit

Thanks guys,

Well, think I will take the inland route up and the coast road back!
